Jacob Billingsley

Jacob is the owner and founder of BASE.  He is a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), as well as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 2018 MLB Draft out of Mississippi State University where he attended college as a student-athlete. He graduated from MSU in 2017 with a BSIS in Kinesiology & Psychology and during his college career, played in 3 consecutive NCAA Super Regionals (2016-2018), as well as the NCAA Men's College World Series in 2018. He also played in the Cape Cod Summer League in 2017 for the Harwich Mariners. He played under current Twins Major League Pitching Coach, Wes Johnson, Former MSU Head Coach and Current Athletic Director, John Cohen, as well as current SEC Head Coaches, Butch Thompson (Auburn) and Nick Mingione (Kentucky).


Head Performance Specialist

Walker McCleney

Walker is from Morris, AL and played collegiate baseball for the University of Alabama where he graduated in Exercise Science Human Performance in 2020. As a student-athlete  at Alabama, Walker gained over 180 hours of first-hand coaching experience working with the Assistant Director of Sports Performance. He worked with several different sports, including time spent with the Quarterbacks for the Football Team, as well as the Alabama Softball Team. Walker is the younger brother of professional softball star, Haylie McCleney, who is also a member of the USA Olympic Softball Team. Walker's younger brother, Garrison McCleney, plays collegiate baseball for Wallace State in Hanceville, AL.

Alex Webb

Alex is from Columbia, TN & is a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), as well as a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CSFC). He is a former Catcher at the University of Alabama, Chipola JC where he won a National Championship, as well as Jacksonville State University where he earned multiple First-Team All Conference Awards. Alex is a former intern under Mike Boyle at MBSC in Boston, MA where he helped train Olympic, Professional, Collegiate, & High-School Athletes.

Josh McCormick

Josh is a former Student Athletic-Trainer for Mississippi State University Football from 2015-2017. While there, he worked under Dan Jacobi, who is the current Director of Sports Medicine for Texas A&M University. Josh graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. He is a former Physical Therapy Technician at Columbus Orthopedic Clinic, where he worked with numerous high-profile student-athletes throughout their rehabilitation process. He is a current Emergency Medical Technician and Fireman for the Hernando Fire Department in Desoto County.
